Key Benefits
Routing templates are designed to streamline and standardize the process of defining shipment routes, ensuring consistency and efficiency of creating loads across operations.
By leveraging these templates, users can expect a structured framework that simplifies route creation, minimizes errors, and accelerates workflow execution. These templates enable rapid assignment of routes without the need to manually configure each detail for every shipment.
Pick and Run + Drop & Hook
The first container move in this template starts at a port, depot, or location where the container is being picked up from and assumes that the next move is to the delivery or loading location. Once at the delivery location the driver would be prompted to drop this container. Once the container is ready to be picked up again the second container move would encompass picking up or hooking the container and returning it to the port, depot, or where the container is being returned to.
Pick and Run + Live Unload
The only container move in this template starts at a port, depot, or location where the container is being picked up from and assumes that the next move is to the delivery or loading location. Once at the delivery location the driver is expected to wait while unloading or loading of this container takes place. Once the loading or unloading actions are completed the driver is expected to return this to the port, depot, or where the container is being returned to.
Prepull + Drop & Hook
The first container move in this template starts at a port, depot, or location where the container is being picked up from and assumes that the next move is to yard for dropping the container until it can be delivered for loading or unloading. The second container move would be to pick up or hook the container and bring it to the delivery location, where the driver would be prompted to drop this container. Once the container is ready to be picked up again the third container move would encompass picking up or hooking the container and returning it to the port, depot, or where the container is being returned to.
