The Free Flow feature gives users the ability to assign drivers to pick up a container from a group of stacked containers. This type of dispatch is often referred to as peel pile(s) because at the time of dispatch the container number the driver will be assigned to is unknown. Drivers are dispatched to pick up a container from the group of stacked containers, and when the driver arrives, the driver is notified which peel pile to pull from and is often assigned the top most container from the stack. In this scenario the driver and dispatcher don’t know which container the driver will end up picking up, making dispatching them a difficult task. Free Flow is the solution to this dispatch challenge.
