Why "Require Driver to Select Chassis from List" Is Greyed Out

In Driver Profiles > Mobile Permissions, the setting “Require Driver to select chassis from chassis list” may appear greyed out or auto-selected.

This occurs when the permission “Allow driver to update chassis information in PortPro” is not enabled. Without this permission, the system assumes the driver does not need to interact with the chassis list, so the option is disabled by default.

If you would like drivers to manually select chassis from your equipment profiles, ensure that the permission to update chassis info is enabled.

Note: If you allow chassis entry as a free-text field (instead of a list selection), this setting becomes irrelevant and is automatically locked.
