Let’s explore what’s new and improved!
EDI Ready to Return Tender Enhancements
What’s New?
Enhancements made to allow for automation of the ready-to-return designation through the system, using signals from tenders and load statuses, allowing any customer with a return leg to benefit from this automation for specific trading partners.
Why this change
- Eliminates manual ready-to-return setting, saving time and reducing errors on EDI orders for specific integrated trading partners.
- Leverages tender data (container numbers, timestamps) to drive logic.
- Aligns with customer expectations of the container being "ready for pickup" when tenders are sent.
Auto-Accept and Smart Matching for EDI Tender Updates
What’s New?
For specific integrated trading partners, a new suite of features has been developed to automatically process tender updates based on configurable rules, with a focus on accurate matching and safe updates. This includes the ability to enable auto-accept behavior, apply updates when matching identifiers (like PO, container, booking, or work order numbers) are found, and safely route unmatched or risky updates to manual review. These enhancements are designed to reduce manual intervention, avoid load creation from incomplete data, and support unique customer logic for EDI tender processing. Not sure if this applies to your EDI setup? No problem - just reach out to your Account or Success Manager for further details.
Why this change
- Smarter Matching Logic - For specific integrated trading partners, tender updates now auto-match to loads using container number + PO number (for imports) or booking, work order, and PO numbers (for exports).
- Safe Handling of Unmatched Updates - Unmatched tender updates are routed to "problem tenders", and no loads are created from updates alone — ensuring data integrity.
- Preservation of Load Data -
- Original PO numbers from tender create are maintained as the primary reference for EDI documents.
- New PO numbers from updates are stored in the EDI Reference section, keeping a clean audit trail.
- Reduced False Conflict Alerts - Changes in PO number no longer trigger conflict alerts in the review screen, avoiding noise.
- Improved Search - Users can now search for loads by PO number, helping them quickly resolve "problem tenders".
Audit Enhancements
What’s New?
Notification audit logging has been enhanced to improve system consistency and observability for
- Instant Emails
- Time-Based Emails
- Emails with Load Information
Why this change
- Improved Performance for faster access to audit logs and better structured queries
Improvements made to Driver Tracking
What’s New?
An enhancement has been made to the display of driver tracking. Tracking sources have been standardized across the Planner and Tracking pages.
- Drivers tracked via ELD will now consistently show as ELD-tracked in both views.
- This ensures alignment between tracking data shown in operational planning and detailed tracking views.
Why this change
- Provides clear and consistent tracking information for drivers.
- Enhances planner confidence when reviewing driver status and location.
- Supports accurate coordination across teams using different views
Template Size Limit for Notification Emails
What’s New?
To improve performance and ensure faster email delivery, we've introduced a size limit for Notification Email Templates.
- Template size is now limited to 100 KB. This helps prevent performance issues caused by very large templates.
- Use of image URLs instead of embedded base64 images. We've noticed that templates with embedded images in base64 format can grow to over 500 KB. By using images uploaded via the Upload section your templates will stay well within the new size limits.
Why this change?
Some templates with large embedded images were becoming too big—up to 500 KB! This can slow things down or cause issues.
What should you do?
- You can still add images to your templates. Just upload them using the Upload section and use the image URLs in your template.
- Avoid pasting images directly (base64), as this can make the template too large.
"To" Time Now Visible in Driver Planner View
What’s New?
We’ve improved the Planner page by showing both the start and end times for appointments in the driver’s move cards.
If an appointment is scheduled from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, you’ll now see both times displayed—making it easier to plan and manage driver schedules at a glance.
Why this change?
This small change helps provide better visibility and clarity when reviewing appointments in the planner.
Timezone Selection for Scheduled Reports
What’s New?
We’ve added a new option to help you better control when your scheduled reports are run and what data is included, especially when using time-sensitive filters like "Today." You can now select a timezone when creating or editing a custom report.
This timezone will:
- Set the schedule for when the report is sent.
- Be used in filters (like "Today") to ensure the right data is included.
- If no timezone is selected, we’ll use your account’s preferred timezone.
Where to Find It:
- A new Timezone dropdown is available in the report filter section.
- A tooltip is included to explain how it works.
- You’ll also see a new Timezone column on the Custom Reports page so you can quickly check which timezone each report uses better visibility and clarity when reviewing appointments in the planner.
Why this change?
- Selecting a timezone is optional.
- Only one timezone can be applied per report.
- This update ensures your reports are more accurate and aligned with your business hours.
Driver App ETA Enhancement
What's New?
We’ve made a small improvement to how ETAs are shown in the Driver App.
Why this change?
The app will now only update the ETA when there's a noticeable change. This means fewer small updates, making the ETA more stable and easier to follow.
Easier Chassis Number Entry for Drivers
What's New?
We’ve made it easier and more intuitive for drivers to enter chassis numbers in the app.
- When drivers tap the Chassis Number field, they’ll be taken to a new screen designed to simplify selection.
- At the top, drivers will see container details (Number, Size, Type, SSL) for quick reference.
- Drivers can search for a chassis by typing in a number and selecting from a list.
- If the chassis doesn’t exist in the list, drivers can add it manually (unless restricted by user permissions).
- A new filter button lets drivers narrow results by:
- Chassis Owner
- Chassis Size
- Chassis Type
- Status (Available or In Use – default is "Available")
- Drivers cannot select a chassis that is currently “In Use.”
Why this change?
This update makes chassis selection faster, clearer, and more flexible.
Enhancement to Driver Miles
What's New?
To make mileage-based rules more accurate and consistent, we’ve updated how distances are calculated in loads. Mileage is now rounded up to the nearest whole number.
For example, if a load shows 50.06 miles, it will now be rounded up to 51 miles. This means it will fall under the 51–100 mile range, helping ensure the correct rules are applied.
Why this change?
This small change helps make mileage rules easier to follow and more predictable.
Text Selection Enabled in Tables
What's New?
Users can now select and copy text from table cells in the following areas:
- Reports
- Dashboard Agent’s Chat
- Report view in Agent’s Chat
Why this change?
This improvement makes it easier to copy important details directly from tables for quick sharing or reference.
