How to Use the Attach Report Button in Waiting Time Audit?

Modified on Fri, 6 Jun at 7:16 PM

Overview

The Attach Report feature on the Waiting Time Audit page enables the generation of a detailed Wait Time Report for any load directly from the audit view. Once attached, the report is stored under the Documents tab of the corresponding load record—facilitating easy review and distribution of driver activity, time logs, and location history.

This feature is particularly beneficial for resolving detention claims, auditing time logs, and providing supporting documentation to customers.

What the Report Includes

  • Driver’s wait time at specific event locations

  • Arrival and departure timestamps

  • Screenshot of the Tracking tab showing container movement

  • All data linked to the specific load number

Steps to Generate and Attach a Report

1. Navigate to the Waiting Time Audit Page

From the top navigation menu, go to Billing > Waiting Time Audit.
A list of loads will display, categorized by event types such as Pick Up Container or Deliver Container.

2. Locate the Relevant Load

Use available filters or the search bar (e.g., by container type or customer) to identify the target load.
In the list, find the corresponding row where a wait time report is required.

3. Click Attach Report

In the Report column, select the Attach Report button next to the appropriate load.
The system will automatically generate the report and store it in the load’s Documents tab.

4. Download the Report

Once generated, the Attach Report button changes to Download.
Click Download to open or share the report as a PDF file.

Troubleshooting: Report Not Available

If the report is not yet generated, the button will remain labeled Attach Report.
Clicking the button will initiate report creation. Once complete, the button will switch to Download.

Common Use Cases

  • Detention Disputes: Provide time-stamped evidence of driver wait time.

  • Customer Communication: Share verified driver activity data.

  • Internal Auditing: Review efficiency, compliance, and route execution.
