Connections Overview

The Connections section enables syncing and communication with external systems or partners outside of an individual PortPro account.

  • Connect Configuration

    • Used for brokers connected to carriers or carriers connected to brokers.

    • Allows users to configure auto-accept settings for specific load information fields when data changes are sent by the other party.

  • Documents Syncing

    • Enables load-related documents to sync between connected accounts if specified in the profile.

    • Carriers may choose to include documents such as:

      • POD (Proof of Delivery)

      • TIR IN / TIR OUT

    • Brokers may choose to share documents such as:

      • Delivery Order

      • Bill of Lading

Developer & Integration Settings 

  • Developer Settings

    • Houses API tokens and Webhook settings used to connect PortPro to third-party software.

  • Enterprise Connection Setup

    • Used for Single Sign-On (SSO) configuration, allowing users to log in via their organization’s authentication system.

  • My Apps

    • Displays a list of connected customers (e.g., brokers).

    • Only the Super Admin has permission to connect to:

      • QuickBooks Online under the Finance section.

      • ELD providers under Fleet Maintenance.

  • Enhanced Container Tracking

    • Lists advanced tracking features available through a tier upgrade, including:

      • Additional data fields auto-pulled into loads

      • Automated gate ticket retrieval

      • Empty return recommendations
