Let’s explore what’s new and improved!

TABLE OF CONTENTS

Nov 14th New Feature Release Summary

Discharge Date in Dispatcher View

You asked - We delivered!! GCT Savannah does not report LFD, and the current dispatcher view did not show which containers have already arrived at the port.

Discharge Date is now an available column in the dispatcher view, giving users visibility into containers that have arrived even when LFD is missing. This makes it easier to identify available loads at the GCT Savannah port.

What's New

  • Discharge Date added to the Dispatcher Toggle on in Columns list (toggle on/off)
  • Display the column in the Dispatcher View when enabled.

API Enhancements

 – Chassis Information Added to Connect API

We’ve expanded the public Connect API to include chassis details. This update gives users better visibility into equipment associated with each load.

– API Support

We’ve updated the customer-public-API service - improving performance, reliability, and keeping your experience seamless.

– Carrier API Tendering

We’ve added the ability to create and update tenders directly through the Carrier API. This makes it easier to manage shipments and streamline your tendering process.

Multi-Currency Support for QBD Syncs

Rutter, our QBD connection vendor, has released new endpoints to support multi-currency. We’re implementing these updates so users can sync with QBD using different currencies

6 New Dynamic Filters Added to Custom Reporting

We’ve added 6 new dynamic filters to make it easier to view information by time periods. These filters automatically adjust based on the current date:

What's New

  • Upcoming Week – Shows the next week (Monday through Sunday).
  • Upcoming Month – Shows the next month.
  • Upcoming 3 Months – Shows the next three months.
  • Previous Week – Shows the week before the current week.
  • Previous Month – Shows the month before the current month.
  • Previous 3 Months – Shows the three months before the current month.

Pro Tip

  • All other existing filters remain the same.
  • These new filters update automatically based on today’s date.
  • Use the tooltip to help users understand the difference between Next vs. Upcoming and Last vs. Previous.

Improved Mailbox Unread Counts

We’ve updated how unread email counts are displayed in EEI to make your mailbox experience even more useful.

What’s new

  • The unread counts in the mailbox dropdown and header now reflect all folders, not just the Inbox. This helps you see unread emails that may have been automatically sorted into other folders by rules, giving you a more complete view of your mailbox.
  • Unread emails from Junk/Sync Issues in Outlook and Spam in Gmail are no longer included in the global unread counter. This keeps your unread counts focused on important messages.
  • Outlook view: If you prefer the traditional Outlook-style count for just the Inbox, you can still see this in the EEI Folder Tree, which matches Outlook exactly.
  • Cleaner totals: We’ve removed counts for ‘Sync Issues’ and Spam from the totals to keep your unread counts meaningful and focused on your important messages.

This change adds value by giving you a more comprehensive and accurate view of unread emails across your mailbox, while still letting you see counts the Outlook way if you prefer.

Employee Role Permission Enhancements

We’ve improved how role permissions are updated to give you more control and prevent unintended changes making role management safer, more precise, and easier to manage.

What's New

  • Users with customized roles are now excluded from bulk updates of Role Permission updates, so their personalized permissions remain intact.
  • Updates now focus only on users with the exact role assigned.
  • Choosing “Applied to all existing users” updates permissions only for users without customizations.
  • Choosing “New Users Only” affects only new users, leaving existing users unchanged.
