May 24, 2025 Release


1. Error Message Filter on Problem Containers Page

Overview:
A new filter option has been added to the Problem Containers page, allowing users to filter containers by specific error messages.


Key Details

  • Dropdown filter includes common messages such as:

    • Invalid login credentials

    • Container information not found on port site

    • Port mismatch errors

  • Located within the existing filter options on the Problem Containers page

Operational Benefits:

  • Reduces manual review by categorizing errors at a glance

  • Increases efficiency in resolving container-related exceptions


2. Vendor Visibility in Driver Planner and Itinerary Views

Overview:
Hybrid users can now view vendors directly in the Driver Planner and Itinerary views, providing a more comprehensive view of operational resources.


Key Details

  • Applies to Lite, full carrier, and owner-operator vendor types

  • Visibility is managed via column filters; saved per user preference

  • Vendors must be eligible for tendering to appear in the list

Benefits and Value:

  • Consolidates visibility of all dispatchable resources

  • Enhances planning coordination by displaying both drivers and vendors in one view

  • Supports more flexible dispatch workflows


3. Appointment Status Display in Planner Page

Overview:
Appointment status labels are now visible directly on the Planner page, showing the current scheduling status of each move.


Key Details:
Statuses such as “Confirmed” or “Requested” are displayed within each container move card for Hook, Deliver, and Drop events. This is consistent across both dispatched and non-dispatched moves. 

Operational Benefits

  • Provides immediate insight into the scheduling state of each move

  • Reduces the need to open moves individually to verify appointment status

  • Supports faster prioritization and load execution


4. User-Level Time Zone Configuration

Overview:
Users can now be assigned individual time zones, allowing system times to reflect the user’s specific region.


Key Details:
If enabled for the account, administrators will see a “Timezone” dropdown in the Edit User screen. The same time zone options used for drivers will be available. Once set, the user will view system times in their designated time zone. 


Operational Benefits

  • Ensures accurate time display across distributed teams

  • Reduces miscommunication related to time-sensitive operations

  • Enhances usability for teams spanning multiple regions


5. Charge Code Mapping Display and Search Improvements

Overview:
The charge code mapping interface has been updated for improved usability and accuracy.


Key Details:

  • The charge code now appears on a white background; the label is shown on a blue pill.

  • The search functionality has been updated to work by charge code name instead of label.

  • When adding a new mapping, the charge code appears in larger text above the label in dropdowns.  

Operational Benefits

  • Increases accuracy when mapping or editing charge codes

  • Reduces input errors by improving visibility and hierarchy


May 17, 2025 Release


1. Matson Container Type Defaults

What’s New
Default equipment lengths have been added specifically for Matson carriers.


Key Details

  • Supports the following Matson trailer types:

    • 4000 – 40' Standard Trailer

    • 4800 – 48' Standard Trailer

    • 5300 – 53' High Cube Trailer (already in place)  

Operational Benefits

  • Promotes consistency in trailer data entry

  • Supports compliance with Matson integration guidelines

  • Prevents discrepancies related to equipment length during tendering and EDI


2. New Organization Subtypes

What’s New
Additional subtypes have been added to the Organization Subtype dropdown in the organization profile.


Key Details

  • New options include:

    • Port

    • Rail

    • Yard

    • Consignee

  • Available for selection during organization setup or editing  

Operational Benefits

  • Enables more precise classification of partner organizations

  • Improves filtering, reporting, and event handling tied to organization type


3. Enforced Strong Password Requirements for Driver Accounts

What’s New
Stronger password rules are now enforced when drivers create or update their passwords.

Key Details

  • Password must include:

    • Minimum 10 characters

    • One uppercase and one lowercase letter

    • One number and one special character

  • Applies to:

    • Carrier, Hybrid, and Broker web apps

    • Driver and Owner Operator mobile apps

  • Includes UX enhancements like password masking and strength hints

Operational Benefits

  • Enhances security across driver accounts

  • Aligns with industry compliance requirements (e.g., CASA Tier 2)

  • Ensures consistent enforcement of credential standards across all portals


May 10, 2025 Release

1. Multiple Drivers Per Truck Assignment

What’s New
The system now supports assigning more than one driver to a single truck.


Key Details

  • A new “Multiple Drivers Per Truck” flag is available in Company Preferences. When enabled multiple drivers can be assigned to the same truck via the Truck Profile > Drivers tab. When disabled, the truck assignment returns to one-driver-only enforcement

  • Interface updates reflect assignment mode based on flag status  

Operational Benefits

  1. Supports team driving workflows
  2. Provides flexibility for carrier setups using shift-based or multi-driver operations
  3. Reduces administrative complexity by consolidating driver-to-truck links


2. Sort Functionality for Saved Custom Reports

What’s New
Saved reports can now be sorted alphabetically, chronologically, or by other criteria.


Key Details

  • Sorting options include
    • Alphabetical (A–Z or Z–A)
    • Recently Added
    • Recently Accessed

  • Default sort behavior is configurable
  • Applies to all saved reports listed in the Custom Reports module
  • Sort order is preserved between sessions

Operational Benefits

  1. Makes it easier to locate and organize frequently used reports
  2. Enhances efficiency for users managing large report libraries
  3. Enables faster access to relevant data without scrolling through unordered lists


3. Search Function for Saved Custom Reports

What’s New

A new search bar has been added to the Saved Reports section, allowing users to search by report name.


Key Details

  • Located at the top of the Saved Reports list
  • Returns partial matches based on typed keywords
  • Search results update in real time as text is entered

Operational Benefits

  1. Reduces time spent locating specific reports
  2. Increases productivity when managing multiple saved reports
  3. Improves overall navigation and user control in reporting workflows



4. Adjustments to Time Slot Selector

What’s New

The Time Slot Selector has been redesigned for improved usability and more accurate display of availability.

  • New design introduces:
    • Color-coded availability indicators
    • Standardized layout across carriers
    • Support for selecting time slots by day and window
  • Slot definitions now include:
    • Early Morning, Mid-Morning, Late Morning
    • Afternoon and Evening brackets
  • "Appointment Start" field is now standardized with the updated slot selector

PortPro now supports automatic loading of the 204 X12 EDI document.

2. Charge Code Mapping Enhancements for EDI Partners

What’s New
Expanded charge code mapping capabilities between PortPro and EDI partners.

  • Advanced Charge Code Management: tagging, editing, labeling

    • Ability to define, edit, and label charge codes for better internal clarity and partner alignment. 

    • Support for custom tagging and categorization to streamline identification and usage. 

  • Tendering-phase mapping support

    • Mapping partner charge codes during tender creation to ensure consistency from quote to delivery.

    • Real-time validation and translation of codes for error-free communication

  • Load-level charge application (manual or automated)

    • Direct application of mapped charges to loads during planning and execution.

    • Manual and automated options to assign charges based on operational triggers or rules.

  • Flexible Invoicing Integration

    • Accurate charge code mapping at all invoicing points, including post-load, milestone, and real-time billing.

    • Support for multi-location invoicing scenarios to match diverse operational workflows.

5. GL Codes for Credit Memos

What’s New
PortPro now allows users to define and assign GL codes specifically for credit memos.

  • GL code setup 

    • Users can create credit memo-specific GL codes in the Accounting Configuration section.

  • GL assignment during credit memo creation

    • These codes can be selected when creating a credit memo to ensure accurate financial reporting.

  • Data access

    • Custom Reports: GL codes appear in custom reporting
    • API: Credit memo GL code data is available via API for integration with external systems.
