What Can Cause QuickBooks Online to Disconnect from PortPro?

Several factors may lead to a disconnection between QuickBooks Online (QBO) and PortPro:


Automatic Authorization Expiry

QuickBooks Online grants PortPro authorization to access each account for up to 100 days. After this period, QBO will automatically disconnect, requiring reauthorization. This is an intentional security measure by QuickBooks. No settings or data are lost during this process.


Changes to QuickBooks Online Settings

Modifications made directly within a QuickBooks Online account may require a new connection to PortPro to sync updated settings.


Manual Disconnection

A user may have manually disconnected QuickBooks Online from PortPro, either intentionally or unintentionally.
