Why is the Driver Pay label missing from the Status selection options?

Modified on Fri, 31 Oct at 12:36 PM

When manually adding driver pay, you may notice that the Driver Pay label is not available in the Status selection list.

This happens when the Standard Charge Codes for Manually Added Driver Pay feature is enabled. In this setup, the selection list is pulled directly from the Enabled Charge Code list.

If a driver pay label is missing, it’s likely that the corresponding charge code is either disabled or not yet created.

How to Get the Label to Appear

  1. Go to Settings → Accounting → Charge Codes.

  2. Search for the missing driver pay label.
    • If it appears but is disabled, enable it.
    • If it doesn’t exist, click Add New Charge Code to create a new driver pay label.
  3. Once enabled or created, the label will appear in the Status selection list when adding driver pay manually.

Pro Tip
Only enabled charge codes display in the Status selection options. Make sure to set the correct Charge Label for both Driver Pay and Customer Bills when creating a new code.
