Automatic Appointment Errors

When requesting an automated appointment in PortPro, an error may show immediately after requesting times or at a future time while the request is pending. To view the type of error, go to Settings - Appointment List and search for the container or load number, or use the filters to filter by Status - Error.

The Remarks column will state why an error occured.

Here is an example list of common errors:

If you notice an appointment number is not populating in PortPro, but there is one in the terminal website, this means the appointment was booked manually on that website. This will override our appointment function, and the appointment number and time would need to be manually added to load info. 

When requesting an appointment, if there is an error showing in Settings - Appointment List that states "Error 'HLBUxxxxxxx : AppThirdPartyError: Preadvise service order_nbr/unit_nbr Container request service EMAPT for container HLBUxxxxxx. The service has already been requested by another user," this means another company has an appointment for the container.

Contact the port or your broker / freight forwarder directly so you can resolve this with the other carrier.
