Overview
Street turns in PortPro allow you to reuse an empty container from an import for an export, reducing deadhead trips. This article walks through how to assign a street turn using the Street Turn page.
1. Go to the Street Turn Page
From the left-hand navigation, click on Dispatch, then select Street Turns.
You’ll land on the Available tab, where all eligible imports and exports are shown in two side-by-side tables.
2. Select an Import & Export Load
In the Imports table (left side), find the load with the empty container you'd like to reuse.
In the Exports table (right side), select the export load you'd like to pair with the selected import.
4. Link the Loads
Once both an import and export are selected, click the “Link Loads” button.
A prompt will appear to confirm the pairing.
Click Continue to complete the assignment.
5. Review Linked Loads
Click on the Linked tab at the top of the page to view all street turns you've created.
Linked import/export pairs are grouped visually for easy reference.
Pro Tips
Use the filter button and Edit Columns to customize your view.
Loads remain in the Linked tab until both legs (import/export) are completed.
