How Do I Know if My ELD Is Providing Location Data?

Overview

In PortPro, you can identify whether a driver’s location is being tracked via ELD, mobile app, or not at all using the status dot next to their name.

What Each Dot Color Means

Green Dot — Tracking via ELD

Indicates the driver is currently being tracked through their connected ELD device.
Hovering over the dot will display: "Tracking via ELD"

Blue Dot — Tracking via App

Indicates the ELD is either not connected or inactive, and tracking is being done via the PortPro Driver App.
Hovering will show: "Tracking via App"

Gray Dot — Offline

Indicates the driver is currently offline.
No location data is actively being transmitted from the app or ELD.

Where to Find the Dot

This status dot appears next to the driver’s name in the Drivers tab or when assigning trucks/loads.
