How Rules Are Applied
Once a document requirement rule is created and active, it integrates with existing workflows:
Rule Storage: Defined rules are stored in the system and linked to the PortPro account.
System Integration: Other PortPro modules (e.g., load creation, document upload) can query these rules.
Compliance Check: When a load is created or a document is uploaded, the system checks against active rules to determine if all required documents are present.
Notifications: If documents are missing or do not meet the requirements, appropriate notifications or actions can be triggered within the TMS or other integrated systems.
