Please refer to the video walkthrough for a visual guide on how to use the Driver Settlements feature.

The following steps outline the full process of managing, reviewing, and finalizing settlements.

Navigating Settlement Periods

  1. Change Settlement Period
Click on the date range in the top left corner to select a different settlement period.

  2. Switch Between Periods
Select another available settlement period from the list to view its details.

  3. Navigate Pay Periods
Use the back or forward arrows to move between pay periods for the selected driver group.

Managing Pay and Deductions

  1. Access Additional Dates
Click the Driver Pay/Deduction Date Range to view pay and deduction entries from outside the current settlement period. This is useful for including missed items from prior periods.

  2. Select a Date Range
Choose the specific range for pay and deductions to review or update.

  3. View Driver-Specific Items
Click on a driver’s name or row to view individual pay and deduction items.

  4. Approved/Unapproved Tabs
Both the Driver Pay and Deductions sections include tabs for Approved and Unapproved items.

  5. Approve/Unapprove Deductions
In the Deductions tab, toggle between Approved and Unapproved status. Approved deductions will be included in the settlement along with driver pay.

  6. Bulk Approval
Select multiple items using the checkboxes, then approve them in bulk.

  7. Mark as Approved
After selecting the relevant items, click Mark as Approved at the bottom of the screen.

Note: This same process applies for unapproving items.

Reviewing and Finalizing Settlements

  1. Mark as Reviewed
Once pay and deductions are approved, click Mark as Reviewed to generate a settlement. This will assign a Settlement Number and move the record to the Reviewed tab.

  2. Confirm Reviewed Status
Click Yes when prompted to confirm the Reviewed status.

  3. View Reviewed Settlements
Click on the Settlement Reviewed card to view all settlements marked as Reviewed.
  4. Settlement Details
The selected settlement will appear under the Reviewed tab and will be locked from editing—similar to finalized status.

  5. Unreview a Settlement
If edits are needed, click the Unreview icon. This action removes the settlement and returns associated pay and deductions to their prior status for editing.

  6. Edit and Resubmit
Make necessary changes, then click Review to move the settlement back to Reviewed status.

  7. Retain Settlement Number
Re-reviewed settlements retain their originally assigned Settlement Number.

Finalizing Settlements

  1. Finalize the Settlement
When ready, click Finalize Settlement to lock the record.

  2. Confirm Finalization
    Click Yes, Finalize to confirm.
  3. View Finalized Settlements
Use the Settlement Finalized card to filter and view settlements in Finalized status.

Note: Finalized settlements cannot be edited or unfinalized.
